The 2022 BRICS Skills Competition closely focuses on the latest technologies of “Industry 4.0” and “Industrial Digital Twin.” It has built a broad platform for participating colleges and universities to exchange skills and learn. In early October, all the contestants will compete in the form of a combination of online and offline.
So far, the trials and finals at home and abroad have been a complete success. Dolang provided support and services such as competition equipment and facilities, technicians… We serve for Industry 4.0 and digital twin events, ensuring the smooth holding of trials and finals worldwide. The BRICS countries highly recognized this competition. And it was supported by the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of the People’s Republic of China, and other departments.
Industry 4.0 competition
The assessment was completed on the DLIM-412A industry 4.0 technology application system platform provided by Dolang. This platform closely focuses on the latest technology development trend of Industry 4.0. It integrates Internet +, smart sensor, PLC control technology, intelligent electromechanical equipment, digital twin simulation, and logistics technology. Meanwhile, it combines advanced technologies such as “IT technology and security. Besides, some meet the technical standard requirements of the Competition and Industry 4.0 competitions, and functions of related modules are also contained.
The hardware platform of the system includes:
- A bottom box feeding station.
- A bookmark feeding station.
- A box cover assembly station.
- A storage station.
The software platform includes an MES manufacturing execution and digital twin system, which can complete the personalized customization of bookmarks. Completable competition projects include: hardware assembly and debugging, PLC and HMI programming, single-station mechanism simulation, networking and development of WEB applications, industry 4.0 joint debugging, etc.
This competition originates from the actual work position of the enterprise, takes the project as the carrier, and takes the work task as the orientation. It creates a real work situation and integrates mechanical automation, network communication, and industrial software development. The contestants install, program, and debug the known single station according to the materials, components, and parts provided at the competition site. And they integrate the debugged single station into the production system, use the software to control the system, and finally complete the entire production line. Debug, optimize, run. Comprehensively examine the technical application ability, teamwork ability, and professional quality of the contestants in Industry 4.0.
