On March 27, Sino-German Dolang and Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training of Cambodia officially signed a five-year cooperation plan (2025-2030). H.E. Heng Sour, Minister of Labor and Vocational Training of Cambodia, and Jiang Zuodong, Chairman of Sino-German Dolang Group, signed the agreement on behalf of both parties. Secretary of State H.E. POK Pan, Under-Secretary of State H.E. LA Vibol, Under-Secretary of State H.E Sothearoth, State Advisor H.E. MOV Sokha, State Advisor H.E. SAM Naksen, and Director General of TVET H.E. Sideth attended the meeting.
According to the five-year cooperation plan, both parties will focus on promoting the following cooperation:
1. Promote economic diversification: focus on digital technology fields such as robots, intelligent manufacturing, industrial Internet, artificial intelligence (AI), carry out China-Cambodia capacity cooperation, and give priority to promoting the transformation and upgrading of Cambodia’s key industrial and economic industries;
2. Build an international exchange platform: establish a vocational education alliance, hold high-level forums and exchanges seminar, and implement the China-Cambodia Cultural Exchange Ambassador Project;
3. Promote the construction of standardization system: jointly build the Cambodian Standardization Committee and the Cambodia-China Technical Skills Research Institute, jointly develop the first batch of 26 TVET standards, carry out skills training and talent evaluation, promote the mutual recognition of China-Cambodia professional qualification standards, and promote the “skills passport”;
4. Strengthen skills development: Based on the talent training model of “Dolang Creation-Productive Learning Factory”, jointly build Dolang International College, create “Belt and Road” skills base, and organize the China-Cambodia skills competition.
