1. Overview

DLZL-AH01 Thermodynamics Lab Equipment is teaching equipment for fundamental and applied thermodynamics. This equipment is really popular in heat transfer labs for middle school.

DLZL-AH01 Thermodynamics lab equipment helps students learn the basic principles of thermodynamics to complex theory. Students learn through hands-on experiments on gas behavior, heat transfer and conductivity, conduction, convection, and heat exchange.

This thermodynamics lab equipment includes an electric control unit, heating unit, and refrigeration unit; the kit equips with detection instruments and switches. It mainly tests four types of heat exchangers: cabinet heat exchangers, fan coil heat exchangers, tube-in-pipe (double-pipe) heat exchangers, and horizontal shell-and-tube heat exchangers.

(The instrument panel includes the main switch and leakage protector, overload protection device, operation indicating device, key switch, voltmeter, ammeter, and digital temperature display.)

2. Thermodynamics Lab Experiments Training Contents

(1) Measure the water and air temperature at different points of the exchanger;

(2) Measure the temperature of water and air before and after the exchanger;

(3) Determine the heat exchange capacity;

(4) Measure the pressure drop of hot water before and after the exchanger;

(5) Measure the pressure drop of cold water before and after the exchanger;

(6) Compare the operation mode and performance of different types of heat exchangers;

(7) Measure the proportional flow of water and air and determine the optimum speed of water flow and airflow.
